back homemindlessly gaping at the glassy gleam  with no understanding and without faintest attention.  with eyes half-open I don't even notice  how the frames, one by one, go by in thirties or twenty fives.  frames?   
with inadvertent attempts bound to be failures  to fix my posture so that it feels ok  resilient, I crawl all over it  but the armchair gets its own way eventually  shapes me to its shape. I yield.   
I wallow in the pale color of the living stillness  with only eyes defiant to the calling of what I am sitting upon.  I dully feed myself with whatever fits up there, in back home

update for lester's friends:

as you can see from his last journal entry, he's having internet connectivity problems at the moment. he can be reached by email, but may take a while to respond as he's out chasing his dreams at the moment (literally) and sounds like he's having some success.
